This piece was inspired by news reports the artist saw on the internet about some people in China eating aborted human fetuses. The piece is not intended to be racist or meant to inspire or convey bigotry, it is simply an editorial illustration produced to accompany the article. This piece was produced as a school assignment at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, and won an award at the Competitive Annual Spring Show in 2005.
